'Being Humane' Over Just Being Human
The exact thing other than physique which differentiate me being human from other animals is that, we human have created morals and ethics in our life. In absence of those, I am likely another animal.
But do I really have cultivated these values within me?
To the questions on ethics or morality, we are taught to answer that mentioned mostly in the books. Because, we know that we are valued only if we answer it wisely. Just to keep our value up, we answer it ‘correctly’; but are we really sure about our own behavior in actual situation?
A school boy is being taught in the school not to lie. At the same time, seeing his dad, though in a very healthy condition, asking for sick leave from office over phone. What exactly is the boy learning?
This happens because we are driven by our own ideas of living and our selfish motives.
In 2016, UNICEF had made a social experiment with a girl standing on a road and visiting a cafe, on how people treat her when she has two different attires which postulates her ‘financial’ condition.
The video of this social experiment is on official channel of UNICEF

It raised a question in my mind, do we really have moral standards in our living?
For me, being human, my basic instinct towards another fellow human is to treat him/her being human despite of his/her age, race, sex, religion, region, social background, etc. and all that similar.
I respect everyone with dignity and due respect.
I love my pets off course; I love a human even more than that.
Mahatma Gandhi said, “The greatness of humanity is not in being human, but in being humane.”
Start treating others the way you want to be treated.
The value of money fluctuates with daily trades in and out.
But value of a human is always high and more than that of money whatever I do have with me.

UNICEF:
A huge thank you to everyone who has watched, shared, liked, or commented on our video. Children living and working in the streets are the most disadvantaged and left-behind. They have no access to education and health services. Often they are unregistered and subject to various forms of violence and also experience a high stigma and neglect from society. Every child has the right to a fair chance in life. We have a choice: Invest in the most excluded children now or risk a more divided and unfair world.
